Koen Ponnet is doctor in psychology and master in business studies.

He is a lecturer and researcher at both our university college Odisee and at the University of Antwerp.

In Family Studies he coordinates a student project in the second year that researches the stress levels in men and women within the same (high poverty risk) family. The students interview parents on how they deal with it, what their coping strategies are and what the impact on their relationships is.

He is currently also working on a research project about social media and the (maybe dangerous) behavior of teenagers on these platforms.
