Dirk Luyten is doctor in social sciences and master in urban development and spatial planning.

In Family Studies he coordinates a student project in which the students interview parents every year on the family friendly nature of their neighborhood.

He is one of the researchers who conduct our annual analysis of family policy in Flanders.
